The Chief Cornerstone / Lesson Text 118: 14-29  

Golden Text  "The stone which the builders refused to become the head stone of  the corner" ( Psalm 118:22).

Pracrtical Points 

1. Our strength comes from the living God (PS.118:14).

2. It is importnat for is to remember and recount what God has done (vss, 15-17).

3. When the Lord disciplines us, it is for our good and His glory. Those times should lead us to praise  (vss,18-21).

4. God uses humbel people and means to achieve His purposes (vss, 22-24).

5. We should praise God regularly for saving us and rejoice in His salvation (vss.25-26).

6. God is always good. When we consider what He has done, we should give thanks to Him regularly and serve Him (vss. 27-29).





1..Good News: Minister Donald Mayo will teach our Sunday School lesson on Zoom at 10:00 am-10:45, Pastor Myler will follow with the morning message at 11;00am or right after Sunday School. Services can be seenand or heard on Zoom, Face Book live and You Tube.                                         

 2. The Shockoe Missionary Baptist Church Site for the Danville-Church based Tutorial Program meets each Wednesday from 4:00 pm-6:00pm in the Resource Center. K-12 students must register inorder to participate. Contact Sister Ann Mayo for more information.Snacks are served after class. Food Pantry and Clothing Ministry will be available. 

 3. We are prepariing our Phone Tree, if you would like for your cell number on the tree; contact Deacon Maurice Dodson. The tree will allow Pastor Myler to send mass notifications .                                                                                                                                              

4.Our Clothing Ministry continues to operate seven (7) days a week at the same hours as the Food Pantry. If you have sligthly use garments and shoes male or female, you can donate them to our Clothing Ministry  so we can help meet the Clothing needs in our community and surrounding area. We thank all donors pass, present and future.  

5.Our Food Pantry served 104 households with 240 individuals on March 12th , 2020. The food box consist of Dry goods, canned food,,apples, oranges, orange juice and meat. Anyone that would like to support this Ministry with a food or monetary donation can contact edward a davis at 434.432 1570. Please leave contact message.
